This three-year framework is part of our long-standing partnership with the London Borough of Bexley which is helping to support economic, environmental and social regeneration. The Borough is committed to strengthening the area’s reputation as a desirable location to live and do business, with plans to expand its transport infrastructure and education programmes, whilst encouraging high aspirations and entrepreneurship.
Our infrastructure and environment team has been working with Bexley since 1996 and were previously awarded four successive framework contracts covering a wide range of civil engineering, transportation and urban design services, as well as enabling project-specific support by our specialist secondments services division.
Throughout this time, our team has successfully delivered a range of significant projects in Bexley, including public realm improvements at Abbey Wood Station, Bexleyheath Town Centre revitalisation, new cycle routes and a number of highway enhancements.
Through this latest NEC3 framework, our team will continue to support the Borough by providing a whole host of specialist surveys, advice and designs. This includes feasibility, design, NEC contract documentation, site supervision, traffic and transportation schemes, transport planning, road safety, public realm, active travel and cycleways, bus priority, highway drainage and flood relief schemes and sustainable drainage systems (SUDS), road safety audits, bridge inspection, management and design, development control, transport assessments, flood risk assessments, CDM, secondments, street lighting design, business case preparation, environmental surveys and strategy, geotechnical design and advice, stakeholder engagement and public consultations, site supervision and cost control.
