This major refurbishment of Rabobank Sydney head office, located in the heart of Darling Harbour, involved the demolition of the current fit-out and provision of a new fit-out across six commercial levels (approximately 1,510 sqm floorplates) to provide flexibility to Rabobank’s changing business needs.
Designed by Geyer architects, the refurbishment included a combination of new workstations, quiet rooms, meeting and training facilities, breakout areas, utility spaces, collaborative zones, front-of-house reception, a dealing area and a call centre.
An interconnecting stair was incorporated, connecting all six levels. The project achieved a minimum NABERS rating of five stars. The refurbishment was carried out in three phases, with two floors completed at a time.
Waterman’s team undertook the full building services engineering design, documentation and construction-phase services for the refurbishment including mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulics.
