The new fertility hub combines Melbourne IVF’s East Melbourne operations. Across four levels within the 15-storey development, the new space consolidates Melbourne IVF’s fertility services, IVF laboratory, and day hospital into one facility.
The scheme included the fit-out of a new day hospital with patient admission and recovery areas, day theatres alongside an advanced IVF laboratory. The facility also incorporates specialised andrology, PCR and PGT laboratories, supported by liquid nitrogen storage infrastructure and an on-site pharmacy. The front of house areas provide consultation suites, reception, and admissions facilities, together with commercial office accommodation for Virtus Health’s operational teams.
Our team delivered Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Hydraulic engineering across the full design, documentation and construction phase services for the facility who have set a new benchmark in contemporary fertility care.
