The Docklands are set to become Melbourne Pathology’s new headquarters, following an expansive relocation project opening a new state-of-the-art pathology and research hub, as the key to their strategic expansion.
The new site spans over 10,000 sqm, more than tripling the existing facilities operational space. Its location within the Docklands enables efficient logistics for Melbourne’s hospitals and pathology collection centres whist ensuring fast regional reach.
The relocation to Docklands places Victoria as a leader in delivering critical pathology and diagnostic services. Designed to process an estimated 200,000 tests daily, and advanced genomic testing, Docklands will expand the reach of the centre, accelerating medical testing services across Victoria.
We undertook full design, documentation and construction phase services on the scheme, adopting a consultative approach collaborating closely with the consultant team from initial discussions to ensuring final solutions are fit for purpose, across Mechanical, Electrical, Communications, Security, Fire, Hydraulic, Vertical Transport and ESD services.
