The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, located in Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square, hosts a year‑round program of exhibitions, festivals and events. It is the nation’s only public art gallery dedicated solely to the work of Australian and First Nations artists and designers, exhibiting Indigenous and non-Indigenous art and design.
Our specialists undertook the full design, documentation and construction phase services across Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulics and Transportation Services for the Ian Potter Centre – NGV , supporting the growth of one of Australia’s most significant cultural institutions.
The gallery houses some of Australia’s most prestigious art collections, and as such, the design brief incorporated specific requirements, including stringent internal temperature and humidity controls, specialised lighting, standby power provisions, and system-specific shutdown protocols in the event of failure.
