The Victorian Government invested $380 million to deliver a seven-storey tower at the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, to be built as the hospital’s newly expanded emergency department.
The tower will include new operating theatres with pre-operative and post-operative beds, expanded maternity services including birthing suites and maternity beds, a new intensive care unit with modern technology and facilities and a new Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), giving the dedicated doctors and nurses at the Monash Medical Centre the reusable medical equipment they need to move more people off waiting lists and into surgery.
The project is currently in construction with an estimated completion 2028.
We delivered the full design and documentation services and are currently undertaking the construction phase services for the redevelopment across Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic, and Vertical Transport Services for the scheme.
