Waterman was appointed by Cedar Pacific to provide Building Services and ESD Consulting for their new 37-level, 652-bed Student Accommodation building located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
The building designed by architects Nettleton Tribe was constructed inside the heritage listed façade of the former Victorian Printing Works Building.
With sustainability being a high design priority, the scheme achieved 5 Star Green Star certification and is targeting a Climate Active certification to reflect carbon neutrality in their operation.
The sustainability outcomes provide a great level of comfort and amenity for the residents.
Waterman provided the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic, Vertical Transportation and ESD services for the development.
