The new centre will consolidate and expand existing cancer services in the region and build on the cancer treatment facilities at the Albury Campus of Albury Wodonga Health (along with a Wellness Centre, Dialysis treatment area and a 40-bed Cancer Ward). The project included a third linear accelerator and radiation therapy department.
The project also involved the complete upgrade of the site infrastructure systems, including high voltage substation, main switchboard, chillers, heat rejection, boilers and full Category 1 standby infrastructure.
