This major regeneration scheme contains one four-storey flagship department store, 97,000 sqm of retail, 25,000 sqm of offices, 115 large stores, 108 shop units, 242 residential units, 2,616 car parking spaces, and associated leisure facilities that will bring activity to the city day and night, alongside a new highway system.
The scheme focused on adding depth and variety to the urban grain of Bristol city centre through the provision of a wide range of uses. This multi-award-winning, integrated urban regeneration mixed-use scheme in the heart of Bristol realised the first lightweight grid-shell roof structure in the UK, providing cover to this multi-level naturally ventilated development.
We provided both structural and civil consultancy on this £500m mixed multi-phased development.
