Cappagh Nursing Home

Published 30th August 2022

A growing elderly population is driving the need for new nursing home facilities, and Cappagh provides facilities for 90 residents.
Laid out in two wings, each of two storeys, the home has been designed to exceed the latest standards in retirement care for the elderly. The nursing home is integrated into the centre of a substantial residential community but has its own private gardens for the use of the residents.

Waterman Moylan provided full multidiscipline engineering services and fulfilled the role of Project Supervisor Design Process, coordinating the planning and design process to ensure safety, health and welfare of the residents and staff at the nursing home and the construction staff involved in the project are fully addressed in the final design.
