The ‘Hanger’ is Essendon AFL Football Club’s new elite training facility. The facility comprises a gymnasium, indoor pool, hot and cold recovery spas, administration and football departments, lecture theatre, indoor basketball court, indoor football training hall, running track and two AFL standard external football grounds.
The facility also includes dedicated administration and high-performance training facilities for Paralympics Australia.
We provided full design, documentation and construction phase services for the project, including mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic and vertical transport services.
