Fisherman’s Dock

Published 23rd August 2022

Fisherman’s Dock, located adjacent to the marina in the heart of Poole, will see the construction of 228 apartments and a 118-bed boutique hotel, complete with rooftop restaurant and bar commercial spaces. The scheme looks to enhance the iconic setting through a comprehensive regeneration project which offers both private and affordable apartments spread across four separate and distinctive residential buildings.

Inspired by the rich history of the site and its local surroundings, this scheme will regenerate this part of Poole and provide a boost to the local community through the provision of new homes and employment opportunities. The new hotel and 8,600 sq ft of commercial space will be available for a range of uses, including leisure and retail. The scheme aims to cater for Poole’s growing tourism business, attract visitors and create much-needed employment opportunities, whilst providing an enhanced and active frontage to the Quay.

Our team delivered structures and building services designs for the scheme. Our building services specialists have led the energy strategy for the scheme which will include air source and ground source heat pumps to drive down the carbon footprint of the development.
