The Peddle Thorp Architects-designed centre includes a 50m competition pool with 500 spectator seats, large indoor waterplay zone, toddlers pool, warm water therapy pool and spa, two external waterslides and learn to swim leisure pool.
The facility also includes sauna and steam rooms, gymnasium and group fitness rooms, wellness centre, 25m outdoor pool and café. The facility is heated from a 2,700kw geothermal heating system sourced from a series of 650m deep ground bores drawing from an existing underground aquifer.
