The facility provides accommodation for prisoners transitioning from secure facilities to community housing.
Waterman undertook the complete design, documentation and construction phase services for this new accommodation/transitional unit for the Department of Justice.
The services undertaken included Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic and ESD services.
The facility was designed based on a semi secure environment to facilitate the transition between prison and the community. The project incorporated multiple ESD and good practice initiatives.
