Malahide F.C

Located on a sloping site approximately 10km north of Dublin City, the scheme consisted of the construction of three new soccer pitches, meeting rooms, offices and a clubhouse building with team facilities for Malahide Football Club.

Waterman Moylan was appointed to carry our civil engineering works on the construction of two full sized and well-drained grass pitches, one full size all weather synthetic grass surface pitch together with a separate practice area, on a green field site.
Following a detailed planning process, works commenced on site in 2001 with handover of the completed facility to the Club in the Summer of 2002.

The facility is used by the Football Association of Ireland as the training ground for the Irish International Soccer Team when the team is assembled for International Fixtures. The pitches were constructed to the highest standards for drainage and turf and have performed exceptionally well since completion.
