Mars Stadium in Ballarat, formally known as Eureka Stadium, has been redeveloped to become a regional Australian Football League (AFL) venue.
The first stage of the development delivers space for 11,000 spectators, with 5,000 seated. The project improved amenities on the western side of the field, adding a grandstand complete with roof, tiered seating and media boxes.
The scheme also added undercover podium seating in front of the existing club building, AFL changeroom upgrades, a new video scoreboard, expansion of the coach’s box and upgrade of the oval lighting.
