The police facility offers all traditional custodial functional areas including administration, secure housing, sallyport and support areas over two-levels of approximately 2,500 sqm nestled between a number of protected river red gum trees. The building is clad in weathering steel to reflect its semi-rural environment.
Our experts worked with ADCO Construction, Victoria police, and architects, Six Degrees, to prepare a design & construct engineering services tender documentation package and undertake construction phase services for the new Mernda Police Station. We provided the design for the mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic, vertical transportation, and ESD engineering services for the project.
