Midfield Group – Plate Freezer Plant

Waterman were appointed by Johns Lyng Commercial Builders to design the building services engineering for a new SSO Plate Freezer Plant for Midfield Group in Warrnambool, Victoria.

The new SSO (Single Station Opening) Plate Freezer Plant includes four plate freezer stacks and infrastructure capacity for a further two plate freezer stacks to be added to the facility. The new plant will achieve significant reductions in Greenhouse Gas Emissions for the facility.

Waterman prepared the design for the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection and Hydraulic services systems for the facility. The systems were closely co-ordinated with the specialty freezer plant equipment supplier.
