Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital

Published 31st August 2022

The existing Eye and Ear Hospital has been completely redeveloped into a world-class specialist hospital and research facility.

Our engineering experts undertook the site master plan and feasibility study, before undertaking the complete design, documentation and construction phase services for this complex redevelopment of the hospital.

The project involved the complete redevelopment of the existing hospital on the existing site, including theatres, wards, laboratories and Allied Health areas. The project involved complex staging and decanting to allow all works to be undertaken, whilst occupied. The project also involved the complete upgrade of all existing site infrastructure, including new chillers, boilers, cogeneration plant, site main switchboard, generator switchboards and UPS facility.
