The new three-storey Christie radiotherapy centre allows patients to receive a first-class level of care much closer to home than previously possible, covering their surgery, chemotherapy, haemato-oncology and radiotherapy.
As the first of a network of Christie radiotherapy centres to be opened, the unit is home to out-patient clinics as well as two-state-of-the-art Elekta linear accelerators and Philips CT scanner which deliver highly complex radiotherapy treatments to up to 120 patients a day.
Our team provided multidisciplinary support for the scheme, seeing us deliver specialist structural, building services, environmental, infrastructure and specialist secondment services under the P21 framework.
