Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre

Published 31st August 2022

The new $1 billion Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) project delivered a purpose-built cancer research, treatment, care and education facility. The building houses the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and new cancer research and clinical services for Melbourne Health, the University of Melbourne and education facilities for a number of local health and research partners.

We were engaged as the Technical Advisors on behalf of the State Government of Victoria for the new 130,000 sqm cancer centre in Parkville, Melbourne.

Our role included brief preparation, bid evaluation, comprehensive design review, design compliance checking, commissioning review and final on-site witness testing of commissioning as verification and acceptance on behalf of the State Government for the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulic and Vertical Transportation services.
