Situated in South Melbourne adjacent to the western entry for the city link freeway and tunnels this modern two-storey building provides educational, operational and open plan office facilities for the State Administration and the Central Region Unit of the SES. This building was developed as a benchmark sustainable office scheme ensuring it covered all OH&S requirements, disability access and facility management.

We undertook the full design, documentation and construction phase services for the new SES building. Including the full suite of engineering services disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, fire protection, hydraulic and ESD.

Designed by H20 Architects for the Department of Justice this 1,700 sqm new building was designed with a strong focus on energy management, incorporating passive and active environmental design responses for venting and lighting, and ESD principles with natural ventilation an underfoot supplementary cooling systems were implemented.
